24 permanent vacancies available for HGV Class 1 drivers in Castleford

Flexible shift patterns available. We are looking for Class 1 drivers for 24 trunking positions in Castleford Europort. RDC trunking is involved with minimal handball and palletised deliveries throughout the U.K. The positions are based on a 12 week temp to perm and on the 13th week a simple transfer will be given to our high spec client. A variation of positions are open including day/night and 4 on/off roles. You will be carrying out deliveries to clients up and down the country and nights out can be included on occasions also. For the day and night shifts the work will be Monday to Friday and overtime can also be picked up on Saturday and Sundays. The average working week will be 48-55 hours per week. Rates of pay are as follows- Days - GBP10.42 and GBP15.47 paid after 40 hours Up to 12 weeks Nights - GBP11 and GBP16.50 paid after 40 hours Permanant on Nights- GBP11.58 and GBP17.37 paid after 40 hours Nights out - GBP22.50 each Holiday - 28 days including bank holidays You will have no DR/IN endorsements on your driving licence and will have up to 6 points for minor penalties only.
