Project Coordinator - Bristol - 5 month contract - Up to ??275 Umbrella or ??220.07 PAYEWe are currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator to work for a major government defence department based in Bristol on a 5 month contract. Candidates with Defence experience are desirable. Please note this role falls inside IR35The Role:*Establish effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders from within the and outside the department which is key to the project success; *Work alongside staff on relevant work streams, such as communications, IT, safety management, quality, benefits and governance;*Production of key documentation working with functional leads to ensure all aspects of through-life support, quality, safety and engineering are considered;*Report on progress of project work streams through to the Management Board and the Programme Boards, including organising and preparing briefings supporting wider engagement for both internal and external stakeholders;*Produce handover documents and attends meeting with the Business As Usual delivery team.*The role will require strong project management skills to deliver within challenging timescales along with travel (with overnight stays) within the UK and potentially overseas.*Support to the Senior Project Manager *Ensure all project management documentation is completed, and maintained*Ensure that all relevant stakeholders are consulted, informed or otherwise engaged as necessary and appropriate.*Produce business cases as required.Experience required:*Track record of successful delivery in an equivalent role with equivalent level of responsibility in complex IT application projects *Knowledge of industry standard methods and tools *Experience of working successfully with IT supplier staff and representatives from business teams to delivery new systems *Experience of working successfully in large; complex organisations is desirablePlease apply without delay as there is a deadline with this role.
