Events & Social Media Co-ordinator

(fixed-term to July 2018 in first instance)

£19,972 - £26,029 p.a.

(salary will depend on experience, skills and qualifications)

An exciting new opportunity exists for an ambitious, creative and highly organised events or marketing graduate looking to start their career in the education sector and with the drive to change the game with regard to student recruitment events. By enhancing the format and driving promotion of these events you will encourage attendance by potential students and their influencers, leaving them raving about their experience for weeks afterwards. The role includes coordination of College activities on behalf of the Higher Education Outreach Network (HEON).

The Events & Social Media Co-ordinator will play a key role in two essential areas of the marketing department's remit:

  • Organising, promoting and developing a range of high quality, cross-college and external events;
  • Coordination of social media channels to communicate the Nescot offer to internal and external audiences.

The role will require you to work both work independently, taking ownership of your areas of responsibility, and to engage and excite colleagues throughout the college. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and creative flair will help you succeed in this role which offers plenty of scope to make your own.

The role is fixed-term to July 2018 with the potential for further extension or to become a permanent post. The successful candidate must be a car driver.

The College is set in an attractive green campus outside Epsom with a large free on-site car park and convenient rail links to London and the South East from the neighbouring mainline station. The College is in the midst of extensive redevelopment to its 7-acre campus.
