Northumberland College has two main campuses at Ashington and Kirkley Hall and centres at Hexham and Berwick.

The Management Information Systems team (MIS) is responsible for the administrative processes associated with the students' time at Northumberland College, ranging from enrolment, processing attendance registers, entering students for examinations and the issuing of final examination results and certificates. The team is also responsible for all internal and external reporting of students' data and their courses and for the preparation of funding claims to our external funding bodies. The team is subdivided into a number of sub teams (Exams, Enrolment, Registers & Data Generation) with each one having responsibility for delivering specific parts of the service to students and staff.
The department is looking for an MIS Officer who will assist in the preparation of error free ILR data, to assist the Head of MIS with external and internal audits and the updating of learner data on the advanced loans and HE loans portal. The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate excellent skills with data and IT packages, have an excellent attention to detail and have a very good knowledge of SFA and EFA funding.
