SEO Specialist

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an SEO Specialist to join the Investoo Group team, a well-funded start-up innovating within the online trading industry, based in London.

We are specifically looking for someone well-versed in creative content and link building strategies. While technical and general on-page SEO will apply to the role – we’re after someone who craves the content marketing and link acquisition side of search marketing. You will work alongside the Head of Marketing, Commercial Director and your SEO colleagues to pull all the aspects of SEO together; from planning, to execution, to tracking and reporting.

As SEO Specialist, your duties and responsibilities will be:

• Own the SEO department at Investoo Group. (career progression towards head of department)
• Link building – to own, create and help implement the link building strategy for the business, alongside outreach and relationship management.
• Website analysis – provide optimisation for URL structures, titles, h tags, sitemaps and all other areas of on-site SEO.
• Overall research – provide reports on keywords, trends, questions and general search-related queries in aid of understanding content and link requirements.
• Data analysis – using analytics to analyse website traffic, competitor backlinks and best practices.
• Reporting – create, monitor and continue to report on SEO performance, via traffic, sales and conversion.
• Campaigns – using the above skills research, create and deliver targeted content-based link building campaigns.
• Lead junior SEO colleagues to create smooth processing for all areas of organic search.
• Work with a team of writers and general content producers day-to-day to ensure a consistent flow of link-orientated content marketing.

The absolute minimum requirements for this role include:

• 2+ years building content and links.
• Proven experience working within content OR link strategy; in-house or agency.

An ideal SEO Specialist will have the following skills and qualifications:

• ‘Some’ experience within the retail trading industry including; forex trading, cfd/stocks trading and binary options. Experience freelancing for these industries is also acceptable.
• Perfect, overall understanding of the SEO process, including on page and off page.
• Ability to work autonomously and own projects from start to finish.
• Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise and manage a large workload.
• Understanding of the technology and terminology involved.
• Knowledge of site tools such as Google Analytics / SEM Rush / Accuranker etc.

Your working hours will be 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday.

In return for this you will receive a salary of £20,000 - £50,000 per annum.
