Who will I be working with? 

Solid Sheds is an award-winning company that specialises in manufacturing and installing tailor-made timber buildings across the UK. With a workforce of over 50 colleagues, the business prides itself on a reputation for craftsmanship and fine quality which is second to none, gained through hard work and customer loyalty. Having opened show sites in seven locations within the past six years, Solid Sheds has a very exciting future ahead with ambitious growth plans.

As a Retail Sales Consultant what will the role entail?

Working as part of a small and proactive team at the show site located within the Avant Garden Centre in Leyland, you’ll provide customers with a first class quality experience, whilst taking responsibility for the generation of sales of new sheds, log cabins, workshops and summer houses from a wide product range. Upon customer request, you’ll also visit customer homes around the local area to undertake measurements.

What will I need to be considered for this Retail Sales Consultant role?

• A genuine interest in the Solid Shed products
• Approachable with a confident and personable manner
• Superb communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and easily
• Self-motivation with the desire to achieve results
• Proactive, positive and enthusiastic approach to work
• IT literacy 
• Full UK driving licence and own transport

Pay rate: £7.50 per hour, plus commission with potential additional earnings in the region of £15,000 per year

Hours of Work: Full time hours, working on a 4 days on and 4 days off rota

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Leyland (Lancashire). You’ll also be required to visit customer homes around the surrounding area.
