Due to continued success, the business has an opening to join the longstanding team within a varied Field Engineer role, where you’ll be visiting and supporting customers across the UK.

The team at Graphtec (GB) Ltd provide a professional production and crafting range to customers throughout the UK, and take pride in the support delivered which is second to none. 

So, what will the role of Field Engineer entail?

Reporting to the Technical Director and working as part of a small team, you will be visiting customer sites within the UK to undertake installations, training and repairs. Your duties will include, although not be limited to;

  • Preparing, delivering, and installing a wide variety of devices
  • Providing training and support at customer sites, in a timely and professional manner
  • Identifying device issues and completing repairs to a high standard
  • Delivering a professional and helpful customer service experience at all times
  • Attending tradeshows to advise potential customers on company products 

What will I need to be considered for this role of Field Engineer?

Applications are welcome from experienced Engineers (electro-mechanical), or those who have completed an apprenticeship or BTEC/HND in Electrical Engineering and looking to commence a career in such. You will also need;

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain problems and solutions clearly to non-technical users
  • Superb problem-solving skills
  • Good manual dexterity skills
  • Friendly and professional manner
  • Strong work ethic, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Keen to learn and develop 
  • Smart professional appearance
  • Full UK driving licence

What will I receive in return?

Salary: £23,000 - £35,000

Superb Benefits: Access to company pool vehicle, enhanced employer pension contributory scheme, 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays and one week off at Christmas. 

Hours of Work: Full time, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Due to the nature of the role flexibility with hours will be required to the meet needs of customers, although additional time worked may be given in lieu.

Location: Visiting customer sites across the UK and attending the company offices and warehouse in Wrexham (North Wales) as required.
