Account/Import Merchandiser

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced Account/Import Merchandiser to work within our successful and expanding Team.

The company is one of the largest and most dynamic lighting companies in the U.K, supplying all the major retailers. The company is a forward-thinking and progressive leader in this industry with exciting plans for the future.

Working in a busy environment you be reporting directly to the Account Manager. The applicant will be predominately working within the Amazon account but also with other major customers. The role involves working closely with the Account Manager to initiate and expand current product offer.

Detailed knowledge of the item set up process and Amazon Merchandiser services is a must

Liaising with Far East based suppliers and major UK and European customers

Creative thinking in order to create deals and devise innovative methods to maximise exposure.


Copy writing to enhance listings and to create engagement

Managing the replenishment of core and best selling lines

Daily processing of customer orders

Maintaining the critical path for both continuity and newness

Managing and distribution of selection samples

Assisting the Account Manger in producing customer reports and briefs for new ranges

Assisting in presentations to customers of new offers

The Person

This role is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented Merchandiser. You will be meticulous in all areas of your work, and be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail whilst at the same time be confident at working within an extremely busy and often changing environment.

Excellent organisational and effective communication skills are essential. Our role is looking for a person who is self-motivated with the initiative to work to tight deadlines at all times.

Ideally, you will have approximately 3 years’ experience in a product related industry Or would consider graduate in marketing with Amazon account experience

An excellent knowledge of Excel, Word and e-mail applications is required. Salary is dependent upon experience
