Our client is a leading digital agency in Bristol. They help ambitious organisations achieve more using digital. They build great websites, platforms and apps for clients great and small.
Their focus is commercial results for their clients. Whether it's increasing sales, leads, donations or engagement, they want to track it, prove it and celebrate it.
The Role
Working closely with our clients, client services team and project director, you'll be designing user experience, website and mobile applications. You'll be leading the client through the creative process and working with our developers to push the realms of possible.
You're confident and love design. Typography isn't an add-on to you, it's important. You love interaction design. You want to take users on a journey and understand that design is a tool to attain real-world results for businesses, charities and government.
You'll be able to contribute to pitches and realise that designs must be 'sold in' to clients rather than just being handed over.
You have ideas and want to see them come to life. You'll poke developers when things aren't quite perfect and you'll celebrate with the team when things go live.
You'll be confident at running user testing sessions, or at least have a good idea of how to run them and a willingness to learn.
Design is a strategic role and we want someone that thinks strategically for our clients and translates that thinking into amazing user experiences.
Responsibilities:-
* Run workshops with clients, sketching user experience ideas and forging creative direction
* Design user experience using wireframes (for some clients, interactive
* wireframes) and present them to clients
* Web, mobile and app design, taking wireframes to full interface design
* Exporting assets for developers ready for use
* Working with development teams in order to facilitate and guide them
* Contributing creative sections to pitches
* Working with our team creating ideas for clients ready to pitch in
* Explain to clients when they have bad ideas why they may need to re-think them
* Muck in. Be a part of the team. Pop out for a drink every so often. Eat pizza.
* Chat digital stuff. Be merry and bright.
