About the team
The programs the Construction team delivers are designed to engage and motivate full time students and apprentices to develop the knowledge and skills required for the Construction & Built Environment. We have also recently secured a GBP250,000 investment to purchase 40 high spec double screen CAD machines and industry quality surveying equipment.
About the role
The role of a Technician is to participate in the day to day activities of the delivery team, supporting the delivery of learning programmes. This may include; supporting with the supervision of students and work placements trainees, assisting in the preparation and use of learning materials and equipment as well as monitoring of stock including the ordering and receiving material and equipment.
This role will require lifting and moving equipment within the workshop.
What we are looking for
If you have:
- Proven experience of working within the Construction industry
- Knowledge of Health and Safety and hygiene regulations, or willing to learn
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and a flexible approach to work.
- Ability to adapt to change and work effectively under pressure
- Have proven experience of working as part of an effective team, able to build & sustain effective working relationships.
