An enthusiastic, well qualified and experienced person, committed to providing the best in outdoor learning is required as soon as possible to join the Bolton School Foundation.
The successful candidate will assist the Head of Outdoor Learning to deliver the school-based Outdoor Pursuits programme. He/she will have the ability to provide high quality outdoor experiences for the pupils of Bolton School including some or all of the following: walking expeditions, cycling, climbing, sailing, kayaking and supervision of pupils during their work towards the Duke of Edinburgh award.
This role will involve a considerable amount of work during unsociable hours (evenings and weekends), both during the school term and in to the school holidays. The successful candidate will be required to support activities run from school, expedition work with overnight camping, and those activities taking place at Patterdale Hall, Bolton School's Outdoor Pursuits Centre based in Cumbria.
