Qualification: NQF Level 6 or equivalent or degree level qualification

Salary: £22,000

Main duties and responsibilities of an RGN:

• Ensure that comprehensive, individualised care plans are in place and are regularly reviewed and evaluated in accordance with NMC guidelines and company policy. 
• Assess all aspects of clients care needs and provide health supervision when required.
• Maintain ongoing assessment and review of all clients.
• Administer prescribed medicines in accordance with company policy and NMC guidelines to establish and maintain good relationships between residents, relatives and staff.
• Report any illness of an infectious nature.
• To undertake clinical management of patients in accordance with practice protocols and evidence-based practice.
• To assess the individual needs of the residents and ensure that they receive the highest standards of personal care and attention.
• To have the ability and knowledge of nursing and management of the home ensuring the well-being of the residents and their physical, emotional and social needs.
• To have responsibility for front line supervision and supervise the care workers and care assistants.
• To be in charge of the shift of the workers and take the responsibility for the smooth running of the department whilst they are on duty.
• To liaise with the manager and senior nurses to ensure the effective communication for the benefit of the clients and their families.

Gross salary in pound sterling including any allowances and guaranteed bonuses: £22000.00 for a typical 37.5 hour week.
