We have a varied and interesting role, joining an evolving HR Services department within an educational establishment.

Reporting to the Group Operations Manager, you will work as part of a team of four Group HR Assistants providing support throughout the employee life-cycle.

As a Team, Responsibilities Include:

• Preparing Offer letters and Contracts of Employment, managing the on-boarding process for all new employees including pre-employment checks and mandatory training
• Using the HRMIS iTrent, ensure all data held is accurate, current and all records are updated in a timely manner
• Co-ordinate Induction programmes
• Deal with employee queries regarding pay, holiday, etc via service desk and telephone
• Providing excellent customer service to all employees of the college and associated schools

Key Skills:

Excellent administrative skills with keen attention to detail
Highly organised
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team player
Problem solver
Be able to multi-task and be flexible in approach to work
Experience in HR would be advantageous
Studying or be interested in studying for CIPD level 3
You will be IT literate in Work and Excel and it would be advantageous to have experience working with iTrent
