Precision engineering company requires an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team.
The company is dedicated to supplying its customers with high quality precision engineering and specialises in the Aerospace, Nuclear, Motorsport and Defence sectors.
This is a permanent position to assist a well-established team in ensuring components are manufactured in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities to include First/Last offs, batch, patrol, & goods inwards Inspection, creating FAI reports and Non-conformance control.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience, with generous group bonus, life insurance, pension scheme & 33 days holiday.
Applicants should preferably be apprentice trained/time served and a knowledge of working to AS9100 would be advantageous. CMM experience is required, preferably using Mitutoyo software, as are good IT skills especially Excel & Word. An ability to communicate with customers & colleagues at all levels is essential as is excellent attention to detail.
Applicants should have good team working skills and an aptitude to multi-task and problem solve.
