£34,196 - £38,789 p.a
Location: County Hall, Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, NG2 7QP

We are looking for an experienced and creative business analyst to work across the Council, in a newly established business analysis function, supporting the Council's transformational change agenda. The successful candidate will know how to use predictive analysis and other modelling to help the business commission services, manage demand; challenge and improve existing practice and ensure greater value for money

You will have a successful track record as business analyst supporting business improvement and have good working knowledge of a wide range of transformational business analysis tools and approaches. Strong numeracy and analytical skills are critical, including financial data, together with the ability to gather and analyse complex information from a range of sources, understand the business context, extract key points and draw conclusions to make recommendations. In addition to strong technical skills, such as being an advanced user of excel, you will have excellent communication skills.

Applicants with a purely Systems / ICT analyst background are unlikely to be suitable for these positions.
