Popular with parents and offering a fresh approach to education in the heart of the historic city of Norwich, we mix an open and modern approach to teaching with a broad academic curriculum.
We are now looking for a classroom assistant to join us in Year 1 from September 2017. We set high expectations for our students and know that children achieve their best when they are challenged, engaged, and motivated.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspiring, and ambitious classroom assistant to provide effective and efficient classroom support. The role holder will need to be an outstanding practitioner, with a passion and commitment to our core values. Skills and an interest in music would be advantageous for this post.
We can offer:
A new and purposeful learning environment.
A diverse and supportive parent community: we currently have 100% parental engagement in our children's online learning journals.
A forward-thinking learning community: all staff who joined in September 2016 have either progressed or are working on new qualifications, with the support of the school.
A supportive and child-focused senior leadership team: you will have your voice heard and will play an active role in helping to shape the direction of the school
A unique city centre location: we are in close proximity to a number of excellent external providers and take our children on regular trips into the local community.
For further details of this opportunity please attend our recruitment evening on Monday, March 27, between 6pm and 7pm at Charles Darwin Primary, Rose Lane, Norwich, NR1 1DJ. Applicants will be able to take a tour of the school and meet with principal Jo Brown.
