Nicholas Associates is working exclusively with large organisation which is at the forefront of offering a wide variety of service provision, with a national capability.
The business is experiencing year on year growth, with a very loyal and stable client base they now have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Finance Manager
As Finance Manager this role will be focused around monthly management accounts, reconciliations, balance sheet control, data manipulation, process improvements and assisting the Group Finance Controller, continually taking the initiative, assisting with the financial accounting, cash control and key administration within the business including the production of management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, group reporting & year-end.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in a small to medium size business with strong reporting and proven abilities within,
* Advanced Excel skills
* Sage Line 50
* Cash flow forecasting
* Budgeting/forecasting and business partnering
* Process improvement and improve controls
* Ad-hoc analysis and smart cost saving initiatives.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
* Demonstrated attention to detail, commitment to accuracy & adherence to deadlines
* Demonstrated ability to provide effective financial support to business/operational managers
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Assisting with costings for major clients and other client info requests
We are seeking someone initially for a fixed term 6 month period, however due to the continued growth of the business there is a possibility of a permanent offering at the end of the contract.
Working hours will be: 37.5 hours a week
Monday - Thursday 09:30am - 17:00pm Friday 08:30am - 16:00pm
