Field Service Engineers - Robots and Automation Systems West Midlands
to cGBP35k + car + generous benefits
Our client has been established for almost a century and specialise in the development, manufacture and installation and support of precision robotic welding solutions for clients across the globe, and as a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, are now seeking to recruit two experienced Field Service Engineers - Robots and Automation Systems to complement their established and highly professional service department.
Reporting to the Service Manager, the successful field service engineers - robots and automation systems will be tasked with the fault find and repair of a range of automated welding and robotic systems via both remote support and physical on-site fault diagnosis and repair, as well as the installation and commissioning of robotic welding systems at customer premises throughout the UK and Ireland as well as occasional international trips as required.
Tasked with programming and performing the initial set-up of the equipment and systems at customer premises, you will also provide post commissioning on-site technical assistance to end users and instruct customers in the safe operation of supplied equipment, and in developing relationships with these clients, also possess the ability to potentially identify additional business opportunities including enhancements, modifications and upgrades for the commercial progression of the business.
These are varied and challenging opportunities that will suit only the most flexible and enthusiastic electrically biased Field Service Engineers who will essentially demonstrate previous experience of working within a robot service and repair environment along with relevant electrical engineering qualifications.
With a full clean driving licence and the ability to undertake extensive travel with regular overnight stays, in return an extremely attractive remuneration and benefits package are available including expenses, car, private mileage allowance, lap top and mobile phone and a matched 4% company pension contribution.
