Inventory Control Planner - temp and permanent opportunities

Inventory Control Planner: We currently have both a temporary and a permanent position available - please state your preference on your application. We have a fantastic opportunity within the Inventory Control department for someone with strong analytical and commercial awareness and advanced technical ability to join our UK team. This is a pivotal role that sits at the heart of our Supply Chain operation and demands an enthusiastic and outgoing individual who will be responsible for producing and maintaining inventory budgets and capacity plans, as well as providing key insights and recommendations. The development, maintenance and publication of KPIs to monitor and improve Supply Chain performance will be important to the success of this role. There is no team management responsibility, but the successful candidate will be able to manage their own workload, juggle multiple priorities, as well as delivering complex data back to the business in a way to make it understood. Working to tight deadlines, the candidate must be able to maintain accuracy even when working under pressure and have a flexible approach to their role. Data acquisition and manipulation is an integral part of this role and the successful candidate must possess advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge with the ability to create pivot tables, write formulas (including v-lookups, sumifs etc) and ideally will be familiar with creating macros in VBA. Whilst not essential, experience of the following would be highly desirable: SQL, QlikView, MS Query and/or MS Access. Requirements: Essential Previous experience conducting data analysis within a retail or manufacturing environment.Advanced Microsoft Excel user.Great communication skills (verbal, written & numerical) combined with an ability to have difficult conversations and influence effectively.Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge where appropriate.
