Site Foreman-Water Construction/Maintenance: Role
My client is an extremely fast growing Construction/Maintenance provider to the commercial, residential and local authority Water sectors. They offer a bespoke service ranging from Swimming Pools, Ponds, Bank revetment and Flood defences schemes, to works on Rivers, Streams and Canals.
Due to expansion, they are looking to appoint a hands-on Site Foreman to their already established team, based in Crewkerne, Somerset. You must have experience in working for the water sector on schemes involving flood defence, commercial & private swimming pools, rivers, streams, reservoirs and ponds. Additionally, a knowledge of brickwork and concrete structures will be favoured. SMSTS AND CPCS tickets will be advantageous.

Site Foreman-Water Construction/Maintenance: Responsibilities
- Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
- Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew
- Allocate general and daily responsibilities
- Supervise and train workers and tradespeople
- Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
- Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
- Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
- Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
- Resolve problems when they arise
- Report on progress to managers, engineers etc.
