We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic English Teacher to join us from September, initially on a one year temporary contract. An earlier start date would be considered for the right candidate.

English is a well-established and highly successful subject at DSTC. You will teach our Key Stage 3 reading, writing and oracy skills; you will also teach our Key Stage 4 students (starting in Year 9) the GCSE English Language and Literature curriculum. Additional teaching of Key Stage 4 Media Studies or English at Key Stage 5 would also be an advantage.

Dartford Science and Technology College is a good school which has a clear vision for the future and has set a range of challenging targets. This is a high quality learning community for girls aged 11-18 with a mixed Sixth Form. Our ethos puts learning at the heart of everything we do.

DSTC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all its staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
