Roc Search are currently recruiting for a Network Support Engineer for our client, a Household name based in Fareham. The successful candidate will be responsible for Network management and support. This role is will be best suited to someone who has a broad technical background and is used to working in a larger team.
Key Duties
Manage internal networks.
Respond in a timely fashion to support requests
Technologies
Strong Networking background (Cisco)
Bluecoat
Checkpoint
Juniper firewalls
Windows technologies Windows Server (all versions), AD, Exchange,
DNS/ DCHP/ VPN
VMware NSX (Desirable)
Personality and Character
Approachable and high level of aptitude when speaking to users.
A desire to learn
Good level of interpersonal skills.
Able to work as part of a team and also take ownership of duties.
Be forward thinking and welcome continuous career development.
