An exciting opportunity has arisen for Complex Needs Residential Support Workers to join a small team delivering person centred support to adults with learning disabilities. This role is for Delos, part of Creative Support. We exist for the well being of people with learning difficulties. Our services include residential care and support, day services, supported living, educational programmes and volunteering opportunities.
The Complex Needs Residential Support Workers will be responsible for:
To provide a caring home in ordinary housing for adult members of the Community who have learning difficulties ("members") and who have additional complex needs related to challenging behaviour or mental health.
To create a sense of belonging within the home and to consistently demonstrate a positive regard.
To model positive and age-appropriate behaviour.
This is a full time role, 38 hours per week
