M&E / Civils Procurement Manager / Frame Manager is essentially a procurement / quantity surveying post but working to manage call offs from our clients frameworks including planned works, new build housing and service contracts. The post would be well suited to and experienced QS / Subcontract Buyer / Procurement Manager from either the Public or Private Sectors.
Client Details
I am recruiting a Framework Manager to specialise on FM / Estates Construction relates services (JCT / NEC)
Based in Sheffield / Rotherham.
The role will require previous M&E, Civils Procurement experience and
ability to manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously
Description
- Assisting in the identification of business opportunities and developing/procuring frameworks accordingly
- Preparing expressions of interest and invitations to tender / ITT for mini competitions from frameworks;
- Developing selection models for direct selections from frameworks;
- Developing scheme cost models and benchmarking data;
- Evaluating tenders, direct selection models and material supply information to advise members upon the optimum selection proposals;
- Arranging and attending scheme kick start meetings with members, suppliers and contractors;
- Using web based systems in the management of mini competition processes;
- Using web based systems to set up schemes for transacting supplies and works;
- Preparing web based system reports for the use of the Operations Manager and other colleagues;
- Arranging and participating in Framework Management Events;
- Any other related duties as required as a M&E / Civils Procurement Manager
Profile
Procurement experience on major projects and programmes of work
Major construction (civils and building) programme experience preferred
Effective stakeholder management experience
Strategy and product development within a procurement/supply chain environment
Knowledge and experience of NEC3 contracts. Good understanding of other standard forms of contract (UK and international), such as FIDIC, ICHEME and JCT.
Experience in delivering contracts management and OJEU training
