Systems Engineer (Windows/Linux) required by my client, a leading Financial Services organisation based in Leeds on an initial 6 month contract basis.
The Systems Engineer will develop, deliver and maintain the midrange infrastructure solutions across the business.
To be considered for the positon applicants must have the following experience:
- Extensive knowledge of the following server Operating Systems: SUSE SLE v10 & v11, RedHat Linux v6.x +, CentOS 6.x +, MS Windows Server 2012
- Strong experience in Virtualization technologies: Microsoft HyperV, Microsoft Systems Centre, RedHat KVM advantageous
- In depth server hardware product knowledge: HP/Dell x86 blade and rack mounted server models
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure & Middleware platforms with ability to provide solutions
This is an excellent opportunity for a career motivated Systems Engineer with excellent Windows/Linux experience to join a market leading organisation, renowned in the market for their contribution into Technology.
It must be stressed that only proven Systems Engineers with SUSE SLE v10 & v11, RedHat Linux v6.x +, CentOS 6.x +, MS Windows Server 2012 will be considered for this position.
This is an initial 6 month contract, based in Leeds paying a daily rate of between GBP350- 425/day.
