Senior Systems Engineer

A Dundee-based software company that specialises in cloud-based call centre solutions is recruiting for a Senior Systems Engineer. The company is in its seventh year of operation and is currently experiencing rapid growth. This position will ultimately see you taking the lead role responsible for the company's enterprise IT resources, hosted in their own data centre, where you will ensure the smooth running of services to customers across the globe.

To fill this role, they are looking for a bright, proactive, confident individual who is passionate about technology and who has a deep understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems and networking technologies. Excellent time management skills coupled with a disciplined approach to change management, business continuity and information security are essential to this role.

Practical industry experience in the following technologies or similar will be a major advantage to the right applicant:

- CentOS
- Windows Server
- Enterprise IP Networking
- IIS 7.5
- SQL Server
- Asterisk / VoIP / SIP
- Server Virtualisation (ESXI)
- C# Development experience would be a bonus

This role will provide you with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility, reporting directly to the company founder and working closely with the development and customer support teams.
