Customer Insight Analyst

Description
Based in Zone 1 London, this is a great opportunity to join a global organisation- the team itself are adept at providing in depth analysis to various stakeholders typically within CVM. Analytics is at the heart of my client and plays a key role in shaping strategies and driving actions. The role is both a technical role with regards to the element of data analysis but also the ability to identify commercial opportunities is key.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare insightful analysis and deriving actionable insights through utilising multiple datasets such as transactional data and customer information
* Contributing to the development, implementation and maintenance of a management information, analysis and reporting framework that supports and informs timely and effective business management and decision making at all levels.
* Developing and recommend changes and improvements to operating models, procedures and practices based on subject matter expertise and understanding of the market best practice
* Developing and maintenance of highly complex queries to extract data from our existing databases, to deliver analysis across all of the organisations brands
* Checking the appropriateness of all analysis requests to ensure business units are making the best possible decisions based on known information. Puts forward own ideas and suggestions.
* Customer profiling and delivering models designed to improve business profitability.
* Mentor junior analysts within the team
Requirements:
* Strong analytical background ideally within a Data driven organisation
* Confident user of database coding skills such as SAS, SQL or R
* Proven experience of working on various analytics projects
* The ability to interpret relevant data and to manager multiple tasks under pressure
* Strong commercial awareness and interpersonal skills
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills
* Role relevant qualifications, i.e. Degree level education in a numerate discipline
Benefits:
The successful candidate should expect to earn up to £50,000 plus a competitive benefits package.
