Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit an Asset and Engineering Support Manager on a permanent basis, working 45hrs, Monday to Friday. This role will be based mainly at Ardley Trident Park and Runcorn. The ideal candidate must be local to one of Viridor’s ERF sites.
What will I be responsible for?
As a member of the Central Engineering team the Asset and Engineering Support Manager is responsible for supporting the site teams in the co-ordination of engineering projects in support of configuration improvements and structured development across all ERF plants. Your responsibilities include:

What will I be responsible for?
As a member of the Central Engineering team the Asset and Engineering Support Manager is responsible for supporting the site teams in the co-ordination of engineering projects in support of configuration improvements and structured development across all ERF plants. Your responsibilities include:
- To manage a programme of engineering projects to deliver configuration improvement and development across the ERF plants.
- Review and align Holistec asset structure for all ERF plant, ensuring common terminology is utilised.
- Review PPM content, liaising with the Engineering teams to ensure standardisation of maintenance tasks
- Undertaking routine site visits to understand current working practices of maintenance teams
- Develop RCM maintenance procedures incorporating CBM to optimise efficiently the proactive / preventative maintenance of systems and assets.
- Liaise closely with Engineering Managers, user groups, CMMS Co-ordinator and National Stock Controller to develop a fully integrated CMMS.
- Liaise with Viridor Compliance manager to support standardised practices across all sites in line with legislative requirements.
- Present regular updates on project delivery to Head of Engineering ERF
- You must remain aware at all times of your responsibilities for your own Health and Safety, for the Health and Safety of those directly responsible to you, your work colleagues and any others who may be effected by the operations under your responsibility or control. You must ensure that at all times the correct PPE is worn. Please refer to the Health and Safety Policy for further details on your specific responsibilities.
Our Ideal Asset and Engineering Support Manager
- Experience of Holistech system or similar CMMS
- A full understanding of CMMS asset management and PPM development
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels, both verbally and written
- Ability to work without supervision
- Experience as Maintenance Coordinator, Planner/Scheduler or Maintenance engineer
- Experience in database management
- Possess appropriate Engineering qualifications with a minimum of HNC (or equivalent)
- Minimum of IOSH (or equivalent) safety qualification.
- Proficient with the MS Office suite of applications.
