My client require a self-motivated, talented programmer to support their chief developer continually improving a highly innovative application environment and its first production application. You don't need to be an SQL expert but some knowledge would be useful. You must be prepared to comply and contribute to coding standards as the project develops.
What you can do matters most: there will be a practical element to interviews. Ability is the key to this role over formal qualifications. We are a young company looking for the right developer to lead a larger team as we grow.
Knowledge of Apache, Linux, MySQL, otherSQL and PHP all advantageous.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO:
??? Work with the CTO to understand the current code.
??? Quickly become proficient at maintaining and extending the code in response to the support team's user feedback.
??? Maintain a strict secure-by-design approach to coding.
??? Cooperate with penetration testers and product release cycles.
??? Implement change control and source code control behaviours to ensure accurate tracking of issues, resolution and releases
