Our client is currently seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to recruit and retain a bank of casual support staff. Your casual work team will be working with people with disabilities in a range of roles including in-work support, learning to travel independently and community enrichment activities.
This is an opportunity for a skilled and empathetic recruitment coordinator to work onsite and for a value led and creative organisation, who promote independence, increase choice and provide support to people to make the most of their capacity and potential.
Position Summary
As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will be responsible for a variety of duties including:
• Attracting and recruiting new staff using a variety of traditional and creative methods including: - hosting open evenings, recruitment fairs and social media.
• Responsible for the casual worker recruitment process, including writing and placing adverts, screening, shortlisting, arranging interviews, and applying for references.
• Responsible for delivering and coordinating casual workers induction and mandatory training; to ensure workers meet the requirements of the job and are equipped to provide an excellent level of service.
• Match an increasing portfolio of clients to staff on a daily basis
• Manage complex administration systems including; processing timesheets, financial budgeting and completing funding applications.
About you
The successful candidate will have experience in recruitment and staff management and the following skills and experience:
• Experience of working with disadvantaged people
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience of training staff
• IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Self-motivated and works well as part of a team
• Full clean UK driving licence and access to a car
