Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Compliance - Due Diligence Officer to join their debt recovery business based in Leeds.
The purpose of the role is to ensure that a fully robust due diligence process is carried out on proposed sellers of debt books and third party suppliers including outsource and service providers.
Position Summary
As Compliance - Due Diligence Officer, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to the Due Diligence Manager on sellers and suppliers regulatory compliance. Your key duties will include:
• Producing reports articulating compliance related risks associated in accordance with work undertaken
• To support the Manager in the delivery of assurance to business agreed SLAs/KRIs
• Support robust due diligence processes for key/service-critical suppliers
• Conduct relevant reviews in line with the due diligence policy and process
• Providing cover attendance at due diligence meetings where necessary, and performing due diligence in line with pre-determined procedures
About you
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience to undertake the role:
• Minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent
• A minimum of 1 years’ experience working within a compliance department in a financial regulated activity
• A thorough understanding of the consumer credit sector and working within the regulatory framework of the FCA
• Works well independently and as part of the compliance team
• Able to work effectively under pressure
