Our care home in Ealing provides a safe and comfortable environment for residents, where everyone is treated as an individual. Your job will be to provide elderly clients with personal care, whilst also encouraging them to participate in activities and lead a active and independent life where possible. As well as keeping a note of any incidents that occur or any issues that may be a cause of concern, you’ll assist with housekeeping tasks, update individual care plans and carry out any other duties that may be required from time-to-time. You’ll have experience working in a care home and have a minimum qualification of NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or a willingness to be trained.

You should have a genuine interest in the care of older people, be reliable, flexible and able to work within a team setting environment. You will be providing support and guidance to care workers, be responsible for one-to-one supervisions of care workers, implement resident care plans and safeguard residents care and wellbeing. You should be a good listener and communicator, even when people are finding it hard to get their point across, you’ll also be honest, understanding and able to respond to requests in a sensitive and professional manner. Good reading, writing skills and IT skills are important, along with the physical ability to carry out care tasks.

This role will require an enhanced DBS check.
