We are currently looking for a Trainer Assessor in Multi-Skills / Carpentry to join us on a permanent basis.

As the successful candidate you will plan, prepare and undertake training and assessment activities in a College training environment or in a learner's place of work, to which some of your workload may be scheduled to the delivery of practical training programmes.

You must have successful experience of designing and delivering assessment programmes and the ability to deliver excellence in teaching, learning, tutoring and assessment processes. The ability to assess functional skills within the main programme and the skills to increase recruitment, retention and achievement whilst maintaining quality standards are essential.

You will be expected to undertake professional and timely assessments of candidates in the workplace and delivery of theory sessions in a classroom setting. Working flexibly possibly including evenings and weekends, you'll set short, medium, and long-term learning targets and undertake regular reviews of candidate's progress. Developing sound relationships with companies to secure future training opportunities and good health and safety within the workplace will also fall within your remit.
