Lecturer in Agriculture (Higher Education)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the higher education Agriculture and Countryside team at Myerscough College. Utilising the brand new Food, Farming, Innovation and Technology Centre based on the College Farm the successful candidate will lecture primarily HE Agriculture Students from Foundation Degree to Masters Level. It is expected that this post will make a significant contribution to the development of agricultural research - both commercial and student led. The role requires academic and research experience in the agriculture sector. A Masters Degree or equivalent qualification in a related subject with GCSE English and Maths grade C or above are essential. A teaching qualification with evidence of consistent Grade 1 or 2 Lesson Observations or willing to undertake teacher training within agreed time period are essential requirements for the post.
