Our award winning client serves the construction industry by providing commercial workspace solutions through innovative design and superior installations of drywall, glazed and solid office partitioning and architectural structural glazing.

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Business / Quality Assurance Specialist to join them at their Head Office in High Wycombe.

Within this role, you will be responsible for the company’s accreditation applications (e.g. CHAS, Safe Contractor) and support any associated audits ensuring that standards are maintained.

You will assist in developing the existing certified management systems up to current standards (ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015) and support the reworking of the present Health and Safety Management System to achieve certification (OHSAS18001/ISO45001).

Acting as the focal point for the coordination of the Group’s Management System Documentation, you will also assist the HSQE Director in the systems integration in accordance with PAS99.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you have previous experience in the production and management of Quality Management Systems against the requirements of ISO9001:2015.

With working knowledge of ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 based management system standards, you will have also implemented processes against said standards.

Experience with making company submissions, including the completion of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires through external body certification/award scheme assessments (e.g. CHAS, Achilles etc.) is also essential.

In addition, you should have Auditing experience, both internal and external, and hold a technical qualification, an internal auditor qualification through a recognised training body and a professional qualification e.g. diploma in Quality Management or similar with an aim to achieve membership of a recognised chartered body e.g. CQI. 

The successful candidate will be positive, confident and will have a ‘can do’ attitude.  With excellent spoken/written communication skills you should be able to deal with different types of people within the workplace.  It is essential you have good IT skills (use of Microsoft office). Ideally the successful candidate should live within 1 hour commute of the High Wycombe office.
