Job Title: Operations Analyst
Location: Begbroke Hill, Kidlington, OX5
Salary: £23,000 - £30,000 dependent on experience
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
The global vehicle fleet runs on over 5 billion tyres. Their maintenance is critical to safety and fuel efficiency. Yet drivers have to rely on manual inspection for tread depth; the simple gauge for pressure. Automation is absent.
The company's existing integrated system measures tyre pressure on a moving vehicle, without sensors on the tyre or vehicle and 360 degree tread depth using machine vision. Automating the process for checking the road worthiness of a vehicles tyres; "drive through tyre check" beckons for the private motorist, bus and logistics fleet operators world-wide. They are currently working with companies throughout the UK and America, where their system is used by 1,000's of cars and HGV's each week.
With significant private equity funding, the company is expanding its operations team to;
- Meet the challenges involved with meeting a growing market demand
- Provide a world class customer support structure
- Build and install new equipment in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure customer SLAs are met for operation and maintenance.
The company is working with a number of global tyre, fuel forecourt and fleet operators to roll-out the technology to multiple sites across the world.

Job Role:
This role is to support the operations team by performing daily remote monitoring and log file analysis for customer installations. The role will include producing regular reports and perform periodic data analysis, identifying trends, key results and root causes in support of the operations, marketing, sales and research and development teams. The role will also include developing presentations and written reports from spreadsheet data for a non-technical external audience. There will be opportunity to improve and automate reporting processes in support of business growth and improve efficiency.
Person Requirements:
The applicant should meet the following requirements:
- Demonstrated experience using analytical tools in a professional environment and/or a Bachelor's degree in business, mathematics or engineering
- Proficiency in data analysis using one or more of the following: R, Python, MATLAB, SQL, C#
- High level of computer literacy - Excel in particular
- Good communication skills for understanding business requirements and clearly communicating the results of analysis
- A proven ability to develop well written, concise and professionally formatted reports and presentations using Microsoft Office tools
- Enthusiastic and approachable demeanour
- An ability to analyse raw technical data and draw conclusions for business use.
- Familiarity with the use of statistical analysis of data to identify trends and root cause.
Experience of the following would be an advantage:
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and networking
- Experience of remotely monitoring equipment

Employment Details:
- Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Holiday entitlement: 25 days + national holidays (pro-rated part time)
