Fire Extinguisher Technician Salary up to ??28k DOESomerset Based My Client is a privately owned reputable service provider who have been established for over 20 years. As a result of increased activity, they are now seeking a Fire Extinguisher Technician to join their team. Ideally they are seeking a candidate who has experience working as a Fire Extinguisher Technician, but they will also consider someone with mechanical and engineering experience and is looking for a full time role with an established company with training opportunities The role will involve working in the South West area (within 100 miles of Bridgwater) installing and maintaining all types of Fire Extinguishers Normal working hours would be 08.30 - 16.30 on site Monday to Friday (No out of hours call out required) The successful Technician will be required to carry out Fire Extinguisher servicing and associated compliance maintenance tasks to commercial properties. Overview of Responsibilities:- ??To undertake fire extinguisher PPM, proactive and reactive works within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met.??To ensure that equipment operates to specified performance criteria. ??To ensure equipment and surrounding area conform to agreed company standards. ??To provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction. ??To ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents / records are maintained accurately Essential criteria:??Full, clean driving licence. ??Ideally must have theory and practice of servicing portable fire extinguishers. FETA/BAFE/FIA certificates along with excellent knowledge of associated equipment and Risk Assessments.
