Not your typical sales job
You are looking to work somewhere where being concerned about social ills and the environment makes you normal, not an outsider. You're looking for a job where you can just get on with things, instead of wading through endless process and meetings. You want to know what it is you have to do, and when you don't know what decision to make, that there are colleagues who are happy and willing to help you find a solution. You like coming into the office in the morning and just getting on with the list of tasks ahead and, even if some of the work is quite repetitive, the variety of interesting and different charities and social organisations you interact with more than offset the mundane. You are happiest when picking up the phone and making that call, but you recognise that details need to be written down accurately. You are really proud of how you juggle competing demands and keep them going, without becoming overwhelmed - but you're not afraid to ask for help. Money is nice to have but getting the job done is the satisfaction you need.
Whilst we call this a Sales Administrator, you don't need to be a salesperson to do it: just be enthusiastic, want to be part of an organisation which is a leading social business, housing organisations working for social change, and feel confident that you can respond to enquiries for office space, arrange viewings and co-ordinate with colleagues across the country, and build networks within the charity sector to help generate enquiries - then this is the job for you.
