Credit Controller

New opportunity not to be missed! Tchibo Coffee International has an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller to join our team based in Epsom. Joining us on a full time permanent basis, you will receive a starting salary of £24,000, plus company benefits, potential bonus, and lots of coffee!

Tchibo Coffee has been successfully providing UK businesses with high quality coffee, state of the art coffee machines, and a variety of related products for over 25-years.

The Credit Controller role is to ensure timely collection of customer debt, monitor agreed credit limits and implement necessary steps if payment terms are exceeded.

Key responsibilities of the Credit Controller

- Supervise credit limits and terms.

- Take appropriate action when due dates are exceeded.

- Chase outstanding debt and identify reasons for non-payment.

- Update credit control notes on Excel spreadsheet and CRM.

- Ensure payments are correctly allocated and posted.

- Issue ‘system generated’ overdue letters.

- Ensure customer accounts are maintained accurately.

- Provide customers with statement of accounts via Excel and SAP.

- Ensure necessary documentation for bad debt and liquidations is packaged and passed to the next level for processing.

Skills and experience required by the Credit Controller

- Minimum 3-years’ experience of credit control.

- Competent in all MS Office packages.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Able to prioritise and follow up on all tasks.

- Excellent time management and organisational skills.

- Proactive attitude.

- Any previous use of SAP is beneficial but not essential.

Offering a salary of £24,000 plus a potential company bonus and great benefits, based at our modern Head Offices here in Epsom, Surrey.

Office hours: 8.00 am to 5.00 pm – Monday to Friday.
