An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a local privately owned business who have seen significant growth over the past 5 years. This is a fantastic role which is intrinsic to the successful running of the business as a whole. You will need to develop a wider understanding of the role and how it effects other departments. You will be liaising with external field based consultants as well as working closely with an internal manager to provide effective quality support. Primary Objectives include: Monitor and update all internal compliance documentsProvide administrative support to external Safety ConsultantsAssist manager with writing new proceduresMaintain timesheets, sickness and holiday documentsCommunicate with external subcontractorsUpkeep and improvement of filing systemEffective management of incoming informationContinuous improvement of all processes and proceduresAssist HR with adhoc requests To be considered for this role you must have an excellent eye for detail and be focused on getting things right first time. Any previous experience within H&S or a heavily compliance based environment would be advantageous, as would knowledge of the construction industry. Other necessary skills include outstanding communication, process driven work ethic and the ability to work under minimal supervision. Due to the rural location of the office you will require your own transport.
