Accounting Technician Accountancy Practice

An opportunity has arisen for an experience Accounting Technician to join a busy firm of Chartered Accountants in Cardiff. Due to expansion, they seek to recruit an experienced accountant to carry out the following tasks for their clients: • Sales Ledger and purchase Ledger• Bank reconciliations• VAT Returns• PAYE / NIC recs• Preparing management accounts• Month end reports• Preparing year end accounts• Reviewing statutory accountsThis is an ideal role for someone who has recently completed their AAT (or is studying). Applicants must be coming from accountancy practice and will be up to date with office packages, be efficient and have a driving license and access to a car. Audit experience along with an understanding or IRIS, SAGE, XERO would be an advantage but are not essential.
