Book Marketing Controller

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Book Marketing Controller to join our busy and creative book publicity and marketing team. 

You will implement creative and effective marketing campaigns for a wide-range of books and authors; working across all fiction and non-fiction genres, you'll market books to the book trade and offer administrative and general marketing support to the marketing department. 

The key responsibilities include: developing and implementing publicity campaigns across a range of channels, liaising closely with authors to market their books, writing copy and designing leaflets and catalogues as required, representing the company at events. 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• A passion for books and marketing 
• Actual (or strong work experience) within marketing or publishing - and the desire to market books
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills (including excellent written English)
• Excellent copy writing skills
• Excellent time management and multi tasking skills.
