Luton Hoo, Bedfordshire, now has an exciting opportunity available for a Leisure Assistant to join our Country Club Team.
Luton Hoo, one of the country's finest 5 star hotels, is set in the heart of 1065 acres of historic gardens and parkland. Excellent transport links mean we are only 30 minutes by train from St Pancras, a 10 minute drive to Luton Airport and 5 minutes from the M1. With our 2 rosette Wernher Restaurant and award winning Adam's Brasserie we are committed to delivering hospitality to the highest standard. Our five star facilities include a luxurious spa, championship golf course, state of the art conference facilities and shooting school. Leisure Assistant Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Leisure Assistant join the Country Club team at Luton Hoo. Reporting to the Country Club Manager, the Leisure Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the smooth running of the Leisure Club. The role of the Leisure Assistant will be to actively co-ordinate guest and member requests ensuring that all our customers receive 5 star Customer Service. In addition the Leisure Assistant will ensure all aspects of operational services including fitness, preparation of areas and equipment, sales, reception, food & beverage and maintaining high standards of cleanliness are achieved.
Attributes/Experience
Previous relevant experience.
Basic pool maintenance.
Operating fitness equipment.
Health and safety.
Good customer skills, ensuring a courteous, friendly and efficient service at all times.
Supports colleagues and promotes excellent team spirit.
Hotel background is desirable, but not essential.
