Senior Graphic Designer We are on the lokoout for a superstar of a Graphick desiner who could come on board our hustling & bustling Design department and hit the ground running. We are currently looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable person to work on our packaging projects. You should have excellent knowledge of Adobe CS especially Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the design and packaging processes. Duties will principally involve design and artwork for packaging across the business including FMCG and GM categories. Managing product categories from start to finish working with artworkers to ensure quality, consistency and all deadlines are met. You will be required to create style guides. The process involves using your own initiative when working through batches of own-label products, liaising with the respective buying teams and the Quality Assurance team. You will report to the Design Studio Manager and take briefs from initial conception through to fruition. Your role will include creating Point of Sale for the business. POS can involve anything from posters, shelf talkers, leaflets, FSDU's & brochures. As part of your role you will be required to create online elements for the Poundland and Dealz website. The right candidate will need to be committed, enthusiastic, proactive, confident and be able to work as part of a team and work independently on projects. You must have strong organisational skills and be able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. You are sure to have heard of us but did you know...
