Brief Description of Role:
Fire & Security Engineer (Installation)
To carry out installion of Fire & Security Systems in line with British Standards and contract requirements to within customer properties.
Identify any defects/variations and provide parts list and estimated timescale to carry out remedial/extra works if required
Knowledge and experience:
Installation and Service of addressable and conventional fire alarm systems.
Fault finding
FIA Units 1&5 (minimum)
BS 5266-1 Emergency Lighting
ECS Card
F-Gas (Desirable)
PASMA - Scaffold
City & Guilds 2330 1 & 2 or equivalent (Desirable)
Commissioning experience desirable
Access control Systems
Door Entry Systems
CCTV - Samsung,
Intruder Systems
General:
Able to make sound decisions
Driving licence essential
Good written English skills
Good analytical skills
Able to work with a PDA Mobile System
Able to work under pressure and on their own
A team player
Must be available to join a call out rota
Van - Company use
