TRAVEL CONSULTANT - BASIC SALARY UP TO GBP20K DOE, OTE GBP30K
We are proud to be recruiting for this market leading travel company, they are a very successful business with modern offices in Southampton.
Due to excellent growth recently our client is looking for successful TRAVEL CONSULTANTS who have a drive to succeed as well as a passion for customer service. Ideally you will have some travel experience although this is not essential. There is NO COLD CALLING in this role as you will be creating holiday packages for customers who have already shown interest in purchasing a holiday.
If you are currently feeling undervalued by your current manager or are just simply looking for a new challenge with great earnings potential & excellent career prospects, then this could be the role for you!
Very competitive basic salary of up to GBP20,000 with a realistic GBP30,000 OTE, top earners are achieving significantly more than this.
Working hours are over a 5 day week & shift patterns are required.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Prioritise your daily workload.
• Respond to customer enquiries & identify the customers needs.
• Work towards agreed targets.
• Overcome objections with the aim to close sales.
• Provide timely callbacks to customers.
• Up-sell & Cross sell where the opportunity allows.
The Ideal Person:
• You will have the excellent ability to build rapport.
• You will have great organisational skills.
• You will have exceptional customer service skills.
• You will be target driven.
• You will have an excellent telephone manner.
It is important that you have previous experience of working in a customer service/sales environment ideally in a telephone based role although this is not essential.
