Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist

OT for Kids are a growing, private paediatric occupational therapy company. We work with a variety of individuals in a multitude of settings, including in schools, at home or in one of our clinics. We offer both one to one therapy and group work and are extremely keen to develop these areas.

We are looking to recruit a Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist in Manchester. The role will involve providing occupational therapy groups in schools and occupational therapy within our clinics alongside home visits. The role will also involve supervising and supporting a small team of paediatric occupational therapists in the provision of school groups and occupational therapy.

We are looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist who is enthusiastic, passionate about working in occupational therapy and has a real desire to strive for the best therapy for all of our clients.

Essential Requirements:

• BSc Occupational Therapy
• BAOT registration
• HCPC Registration
• Clear understanding of the underpinning theory to practice
• Clear understanding of the BAOT professional code of conduct and relevant professional guidelines
• At least 2 years experience working within paediatrics

The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently
• Competent IT skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to carry out minimal to moderate physical activity throughout the working day
• Excellent management skills
• Hold a full drivers license and have their own vehicle

It also desirable that you have have experience of working in a private practice and understand what is required to work in a private practice.
