Care Assistant (Full /Part time Hrs available - Days or Nights)

This company has some great opportunities for Care Assistants, ideally with some experience, to join a great team in a high quality Care Homes, based in Brentwood, Essex. The role is either full time 36 hours per week on a rota basis or part time hours available, in a permanent capacity, with holiday pay and enhanced pay rates for weekend working.

You will assist in the provision of high quality care to their residents and work as part of a team to achieve required standards To be involved in all other general activities of the Care Centre To be co worker for a group of residents by liaising with families to ensure that the residents have adequate toiletries, personal cloth, their bedrooms is tidy, etc at all times To be an ambassador for the Company.

The person: To have a genuine interest in and experience of working with elderly people with and without dementia To have the ability to communicate in English to an acceptable level To have past relevant experience in a care set up or similar. To always adopt a "Can do" attitude, to be caring, motivated and flexible and to be a Team Player.

You will be working on every shift with a Team Leader, who is assisted by a Senior Care Worker, a group of care workers and ancillary staff

Recently been inspected by the Care Quality Commissions under its new standards and regulations and have been awarded an overall rating of "GOOD" in its five main criteria, scoring high on staff satisfaction.

Remuneration Depending on length of relevant experience and qualification, their hourly rate of payment starts at £7.30 to £8.40 per hour for weekdays more for weekends rates. These rates of payment are regularly revised each year and long service awarded. Also, very good pension scheme and qtr bonuses for good attendance. They offer in house and off site relevant training free of charge. Free uniforms.

Due to their location in beautiful Essex countryside they also provide a transport service for staff from Brentwood Station to the homes and back at a subsidised rate at £2 per way.
