About the Role:
As Shop Manager you will be responsible for delivering your sales and profit budget. You will have the autonomy to manage your own shop using innovative and enterprising initiatives to deliver an excellent customer experience.
This is a varied role which includes processing and sorting stock, delivering high merchandising standards and promoting our work in the local community.
You will lead and develop a part time deputy manager and will recruit and train a highly motivated team of volunteers.
About You:
You will be a manager or supervisor with previous retail experience who can clearly demonstrate a track record of delivering results. You will have a proven track record of recruiting, training and developing a highly motivated team and you will have the ‘retail instinct’ and creative skills to generate donations whilst also leading from the front with a ‘hands on’ approach when required. You will be energetic, enthusiastic and a team player, although not essential it would be desirable if you had previous experience working in the Charity sector.
