Role:                     Science Technician (Physics/General Science)

Location:              The Bath Studio School, Frome Road, Bath, BA2 5RF

Start:                     As soon as possible

Salary:                  O17 – 19

£17,547 - £18,560 full time equivalent salary

£8,040 - £8,545 actual pro rata, term time only

Term:                    Permanent, 20 hrs p/w (Mon-Wed), term time only plus 3 INSET days

This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified person to join our Science Team as a Science Technician.

We are seeking to appoint a person qualified to level 3-4 in BTEC/HNC/HND in Physics to carry out a range of duties that will contribute to the smooth implementation of the Science curriculum.

The successful applicant will be expected to work flexibly and efficiently, be able to work to frequent deadlines and have excellent housekeeping skills.  The post will involve physical activity including lifting, carrying and washing up as well as basic IT tasks.  Training will be provided.

Wellsway Multi Academy Trust is a growing family of schools in East Bristol and Bath, incorporating Wellsway School, The Bath Studio School, Aspire Academy, Sir Bernard Lovell Academy, IKB Academy, St John’s CofE Primary School and Saltford CofE Primary School.
